ACTORS' HEADSHOTS

As a professional actor as well as a photographer, I understand exactly what casting directors are looking for in a headshot. Having spent years attending auditions and investing in my own headshots, I know firsthand what makes an image stand out and how important it is to capture the real person behind the photograph.

A successful headshot is much more than a well-lit photograph. It should showcase your personality, highlight your casting types, and help casting professionals see where you fit within the industry. Before your session, it's helpful to think about the characters you are most likely to be cast as and bring outfits that support those roles.

We'll spend time discussing your casting types, experience, and goals for your headshots. Rather than simply directing you, I take a collaborative approach to every session. We'll work together throughout the shoot, reviewing ideas, exploring different looks, and creating images that genuinely represent you and your strengths as an actor.

Many people feel nervous in front of the camera, but one of my key strengths is helping clients feel relaxed and comfortable. By creating a friendly, supportive environment, I'm able to capture natural expressions and authentic moments that casting directors connect with.

Combining my experience as an actor, my understanding of what makes a great headshot, and my passion for photography enables me to produce images that are professional, engaging, and true to who you are.

A private changing area will be available throughout your session.

Actors' Headshot Session (4 Hours)

£140

Discounted rate: £120 Available on production of a valid Equity card or when booked through the following Facebook groups:

  • Bristol Actors
  • Bristol Film & TV
  • Somerset Actors Network

Your session includes:

  • A four-hour photoshoot
  • A contact sheet sent shortly after your session
  • 10 professionally edited headshots of your choice

Editing includes basic retouching such as spot and blemish removal. I don't heavily retouch headshots because casting professionals want to see the real you. Your headshots should be an honest, professional representation of the person who walks into the audition room, helping to create the right first impression and avoid unrealistic expectations.

Authentic, professional, and actor-focused headshots that showcase the best version of you.
